Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi assents to N19.4 billion supplementary budget. Kebbi state Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris, this Wednesday assented to a supplementary budget of about N19.4 billion approved by the State House of Assembly.  The fiscal document was presented to him at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, by the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gov. Idris assures Fakon Sarki residents of provision of potable  water. Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has assured the people of Fakon Sarki community of Augie Local Government Area of provision of potable water. Gov. Idris gave the assurance on Wednesday when he made a stop-over at the community on his way back to Birnin Kebbi, the State Capital from an official engagement in Owerri, Imo State and Abuja, respectively.  The Governor interacted with the members of the community to find out some of the challenges they were facing. Fuel scarcity: Kebbi Gov't. seeks cooperation of IPMAN to reduce hardship. The Kebbi Government has sought the support and cooperation of Independent Petroleum Marketers' Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) towards reducing the hardship faced by its citizens following fuel scarcity in the state. The long ques in filing stations had surfaced especially in the state capital while many filing stations were under lock and key. Concerned by the ugly trend, the state government under the state's Commissioners for Commece, Alhaji Usman Abubakar-Ladan and Information, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK summoned a meeting on Monday to deliberate on ways to bring immediate solution to the menace. Kebbi State Governor,  Comrade,  Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu  has Flagged off the distribution  of palliatives to the public in Maiyama local Government Area of Kebbi State this Friday. About  210 truck load of grains worth N5.7 billion have been distributed to the general public including  the vulnerable to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal and provide sustainable means of livelihood to citizenry by the Kebbi State Government.
