2026: Gov. Idris presents N642bn budget proposal to Kebbi assembly. The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, on Thursday presented a budget proposal of N642,930,818,157.99 billion to the State House of Assembly. The 2026 budget is tagged: "Budget of Transformation and People Empowerment".  Presenting the budget to the members at the assembly's chamber, the governor said that capital expenditure would consume 75 per cent of the total budget, while recurrent would take 25 per cent. He said the figures translated to a capital expenditure of N479 billion and a total recurrent expenditure stood at N163 billion. Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris,.Kauran Gwandu, on Thursday presented a budget proposal of over N642.9billion to the State House of Assembly for  consideration and approval. The budget is tagged, 'Budget of Transformation and People Empowerment'. He stated that out of the figure, capital expenditure  constitute 75 per cent while recurrent expenditure is 25 per cent.
