MASSIVE UNITY RALLY SIGNALS STRONG SUPPORT FOR TINUBU KAURAN GWANDU AHEAD OF 2027 GENERAL ELECTION.
Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), has expressed profound appreciation to the people of the state for the overwhelming turnout at the Mega Unity Rally held in Birnin Kebbi. He described the massive gathering as a clear demonstration of unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

Governor Idris stated that the unprecedented crowd confirms Kebbi State’s position as a stronghold of the APC and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to consolidating development strides across the state.

Governor Idris noted that the rally marks yet another historic milestone, emphasizing that the unity displayed by party faithful and the general public reflects confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and the progress recorded so far. He assured that his administration would continue to implement people-oriented projects that positively impact all sectors.

He further highlighted that Kebbi State has greatly benefitted immensely from the leadership of President Tinubu, adding that the people of the state remain resolute in their support for the President’s second term bid in 2027. The Governor urged party members and supporters to remain steadfast and continue to support the APC in order to sustain democratic gains.

In a moment of excitement, Governor Nasir Idris addressed the cheering crowd, saying: "I want to see your two fingers up! Have you all endorsed President Tinubu and your Governor for 2027 ?".

The massive crowd responded enthusiastically with resounding "Yes! Yes!" raising their hands in a show of support and solidarity.

Earlier, the Kebbi State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, thanked Allah for the strong political structure across all 21 Local Government Areas, noting that the massive turnout at the rally reflects its deep grassroots strength. He emphasized that attendees were genuine supporters from within Kebbi State.

He dismissed opposition claims that the crowd was mobilized from outside the state, describing such assertions as false and misleading. He maintained that the rally has proven detractors wrong and clearly demonstrated the popularity of both Governor Idris and President Tinubu. 

In his remarks, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kebbi State Chapter, Engr. Ahmed Rufai Khalifa, declared the unflinching support of youths for Governor Idris, stating that the administration created meaningful opportunities for young people in governance and political appointments across the state.

He added that youths from all the 225 political wards in the state were fully represented at the rally, describing the large turnout as a clear indication of their confidence in the leadership of Governor Idris. He called for sustained support for youth development initiatives and greater inclusion in political processes.

Also speaking, the APC Women Leader in Kebbi State, Hajiya Aisha Gunabi stated that the large number of women present at the rally underscores their loyalty and commitment to the APC. She affirmed that women across the state remain solidly behind Governor Idris and President Tinubu.

Other stakeholders, including Alhaji Magawata Aliero, Alhaji Faruk Enabo, and Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, described the rally as a unifying event for the party and a strong endorsement of both the President and the Governor. They urged party members to remain loyal, law-abiding, and committed to the ideals of the APC.

The APC National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, further stressed the importance of internal democracy within the party, noting that all aspirants must abide by the rules and guidelines of the APC, particularly regarding consensus and primary elections as stipulated by the party’s national leadership.

The rally, which attracted a massive turnout from across the state, featured enthusiastic displays of support, chants, and reaffirmation of loyalty to the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Nasir Idris, as party faithfuls pledged continued support for sustained development and political stability in Kebbi State.
