The Kebbi State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Zayyanu Umar-Aliero has been elected as President of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in the State.

The Kebbi State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Zayyanu Umar-Aliero has been elected as President of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in the State.

Alhaji Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor stated this in a statement made available to Journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

The statement said the election took place at the State Ministry of Women Affairs in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

It also revealed that the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Halima Hassan-Kamba was also elected as Financial Secretary of the association. 

In his acceptance speech, the new president pledged to operate an open door policy that would carry all manner of people along towards fostering unity among all members.

While soliciting for support and cooperation of all members, the president observed that unity was key to success of any organisation.
